This is a lot of people to turn out on the sidewalks with no jobs. What does the Supreme Court think they will do with out jobs and money? I hope it doesn't turn out bad. RTR! Title: Re: Supreme Court Rules California Must Free Tens of Thousands of Inmates Post by: pmull on May 23, 2011, 04:28:35 PM Very controversial issue. It is hard to believe they are releasing 46,000 inmates. California has needed to build prisons for years and they can not afford it.

Title: Re: Supreme Court Rules California Must Free Tens of Thousands of Inmates Post by: ricky023 on May 24, 2011, 11:05:08 AM California is so wrapped up in gang warfare they are only feeding the frenzy now with more coming from prison. I would think that all the illegals they have to let go, why not ship them back to their own borders again? RTR!

Title: Re: Supreme Court Rules California Must Free Tens of Thousands of Inmates Post by: BAMAWV on May 25, 2011, 01:34:36 AM Quote Critics of California's prison system contend the cells are so overrun with inmates that proper care has been obliterated. Kennedy cites examples of prisoners with mental or physical health needs having to wait months for inadequate care. He cites one example of an inmate who was held for nearly 24 hours in a cage and standing in a pool of his own urine. Others died while seeking medical attention that was seemingly delayed because of the backlog of cases.
