Title: Auburn Paranoia & Delusions Are Setting In
Post by: Marshal Dillon on November 10, 2013, 12:52:33 PM
I love these Aubie boards, no matter what, there is ALWAYS some type of conspiracy against them, not to mention delusions of grandeur.

and yes...I am putting the cart way in front of the horses...but if we win out and win the SEC Championship, that they are going to find a way to leave us out of the BCSCG.

Somebody tell me something to make me feel better./quote]

Quote
Absolutely, they would leave us out.

It would be easy if FSU and OSU win out.  That's a no-brainer.

But if they DIDN'T, they'd invent an excuse.  "How can we vote to put a team in the BCS that had WESTERN CAROLINA on their schedule?"

You know... something to that effect./quote]

Quote
Are you serious?  Of course they'll find a way.  the narrative is already being set up, and in the end they'll lie like dogs.  A one loss AU will be behind a 1 loss bamma, even if we win out.  They 'pass the eye test'.  College football royalty.  It's 'who we want to see'./quote]

Sorry, they already have it planned out on how Auburn is going to run over the Tide D like they did Tennessee.

The problem is, they'll lose to Georgia.
That may take away some of our intensity.

Still, the Aubs will lose to us: BADLY.  :lol2: :lol2:

Auburn is easily the most overrated team in the country.

Auburn is easily the most overrated team in the country.

In truth, Notre Dame would be #1 each year.
The Aubs are #2 (but #1 in obesity and whinery).

that site reminds me of a WWE cage match  :lol2:
everyone attacking everybody and each other

what a bunch of "winners" they are
they worry more about us than their team it seems

what does worry me though is their style of play
they seem to be back to the "try to hurt em' to win" style like in 2009

Gus must approve and teach those bad habits of dirty play ?

I hope we pound that high school crap they play in the turf relentlessly  >:(

I fully expect that as well.

Tough call. It's a Barn home game and which Georgia team shows up? Could this be a 42-35 shootout?

 ???

Now y'all didn't think that sanity was actually going to be found at the barn simply because they've only lost one game, did you?  :lol2:

Auburn's lone meaningful win came against a team that gave up 41 points (I think) to Mississippi St, and the star QB was playing hurt that day.  The SEC is way, way down this year from previous years and Auburn has had a favorable schedule on top of that.  Against common opponents Bama looks much better.  They haven't played a quality defensive team this season and they gave up 35 and 41 points to LSU and A&M.

I think the game will be closer this year than last year though... Bama 45 - Auburn 0
