Title: Here's the NFF BCS Data
Post by: ALTideUp on November 10, 2013, 07:56:23 PM

We are only two computers short of unanimous. With a strong showing this weekend maybe we can make their ASCIIs quit.

Computers still like Auburn.  BCS ranking is higher than human polls.

Which one of the computer rankings was developed and is ran by a professor at UA-Huntsville?

Thanks.  I was thinking it was that one.  One of the two that has Bama at #2... :eyeroll:

His concept is fairly simple.  He uses winning percentage and strength of schedule (all based on winning percentage of opponents, opponents' opponents, etc).  The rankings using his formula has matched the concensus top 2 every year, so it seems to work.  Sometimes it looks wild in the early weeks, but it always ends up pretty good.

Glad someone appreciated my awful pun, Coach. Not sure that's a good sign for you, but thanks!
