Title: No Safe Harbor for Free Safety Battle at Alabama This Spring
Post by: Terrie1959 on March 06, 2011, 05:21:55 PM
I really hope that Lester has a spectacular year.  Who do you think will win the starting position? Green or Lester?

I think Lester will hold on to his position. Green will provide valuable depth. Don't forget about Lowery. He played well last year as a walk on.

This will be a battle for the ages. One may even move to CB. They are both good players and Lester proved himself last year. I like our chances in our DBfield next year. Our "D" is going to be fantastic. Robby Green is to good to keep out of the game. RTR!

I completely agree. RG has to see the field next year.  With Barron, Green, & Lester...the db's should be pretty good.

Lester had more talent than many people realized last year.  He may not have as much natural ability as RG, but he has a nose for the ball* and plenty of experience at the position.

If you step back and look at our Nickel Defense we should be awfully scarey. RTR!

I was pleasantly surprised with Lester's performance on the field. Great player.

I am thinking if possibly Dre Kirkpatrick could be in trouble by one of these guys? Is this a possibility? RTR!
