Title: No Structural Damage to Shoulder of Braves Jason Heyward
Post by: Marshal Dillon on May 28, 2011, 11:28:24 PM
They said it was "normal" major league wear and tear. The guy is like 21, how much wear and tear can he have? Now, Chipper Jones, that's anoher matter.

I agree with you, normal league wear.  ???

I don't know what is about the Braves, but they sure have a lot of players injuryed, even when they swing a bat they go down.

What if these guys played football, they would never play a down.

I'm sure there is wear and tear on their joints like their shoulder, knee, and wrists if the have been playing 10 or more years, but age 21? It is disturbing to see a player miss a week or two of playing from swinging a bat. I think their conditioning needs to be evaluated and see if they are over-stressing certain muscles.

If they played for me, they would be on a conditioning program of some type where they are required to follow a designed program. This would included a conditioning coach.
