I have a friend that has some contacts at Bama (he himself graduated from Bama within the past few years) and he says that TJ injured his hip during the Miss St. game and that it needs surgery. Supposedly he will be available to play against Awbren though so it doesn't sound too serious. I sure hope it isn't true.

A lot of players have non-serious but nagging injuries that they play through until the end of the year and then have surgery to correct it. Not uncommon at all. After the first day it didn't really hurt or affect me at all. Could be something similar?
