In case you're not at the lake or beach. Tim Hudson is pitching for the Braves in the top of the 2nd. Tied 1-1.

My Directv guide shows that on the MLB channel, the game is either Minnesota @ Detroit or San Diego @ Atlanta. Guess which game is on? You guessed it.....Minnesota @ Detroit. Doesn't make sense.  >:(

You have to be intellectual and sophisticated to appreciate baseball.

Sports South is not part of my package. I'm almost tempted to go back to cable. DTV is no bargain any more.

Okay. I pay around $118 a month for Direct TV and I get SportsSouth, TiVo, the NFL Network and a channel out of Puerto Rico, plus all the other usual chaannels. Does that sound right, price-wise to your package?

I am on Charter Cable. I get cable TV, internet and phone for $128 including tax. I don't get any movie channels like HBO or the NFL Network. I do get a sports package that get 4 of 5 more ESPN channels besides ESPN ans ESPN2. I get the MLB network and a bunch of college stuff. I get Sportsouth, CSS and Golf Channel too. I've looked around and I can not beat that price.

Do you have TiVo, that's around $40 a month by itself?
