BCS guru Brad Edwards on scenarios for both Auburn, Alabama to reach BCS title game
(http://media.al.com/sports_impact/photo/tre-masonjpg-a8f973d1d0c3582c.jpg)"Missouri is barely behind Alabama. If they win the SEC Championship, trust me, they'll go over the Crimson Tide."

Meanwhile, Edwards' thoughts on Alabama, per CoachingSearch:

"The only way that I can see that Alabama could stay alive is both Ohio State and Florida State lose their conference championship games. If that happens, the SEC champ is in and the question is: Who is the opponent? Alabama is as logical a choice as anybody. If we were to have the opportunity for a rematch, that is exactly the type of game you would like to see played again."

"Let's go, Duke!"

RT @RJinVegas: Alabama would still be favored over any team in the country (yes, including Florida St) - via bookmaker @JayKornegay

And FSU is a double digit favorite over all the others.

Too bad the 4-team playoff isn't this year!

That would be perfect, especially if we got the rematch in the final game.

I'd like to see the SEC win another BCSNC.
But the national hate is so widespread that the Aubs will likely get left out (again).

No way the polls vote a 1-loss Auburn over (a joke of a team like) Ohio State.

I'm not all that broken up about the SEC streak possibly ending.  :dunno:

At this point, the best outcome I can think of (short of both an FSU and OSU meltdown) would be for them to get left out (again) AND have to play us again in the Sugar Bowl.  Oh please, please, let this happen.

I don't see us playing the Barn in the Sugar Bowl, given the picking method.  Maybe if Northern Illinois loses to Bowling Green on Friday....
