Title: False Start
Post by: jtide on December 02, 2013, 09:03:15 AM
I've seen more false starts this year than I can remember from any coach Saban team.  Why doesn't he put butts on the sideline for a series or two to help these guys develop the self-discipline to not jump early?  I feel like penalties cost us the game more than anything as HSCoach referenced in his game notes.

There is a reason that I am not a $6Million college football coach.  I also don't believe that penalties cost Bama the game.  A lack of execution/focus is what cost the game for Bama IMO... Then again though, I'm not the head coach down there so what do I know?   :dunno:

Give the barn's crowd noise some of the credit for the false starts.

I see why Ryan Kelly has been starting at center when healthy. Lindsey had a lot of low snaps that may have caused AJ to be out of sync. I think it also contributed to the false starts.
