Title: Ohio State President Gee in the Crosshairs Now Post by: Marshal Dillon on May 31, 2011, 05:41:27 PM Not really surprising.
In the wake of football coach Jim Tressel's stunning resignation, attention is now focusing on the job security of Ohio State President Gordon Gee and athletic director Gene Smith. http://www.foxsportsohio.com/05/31/11/Football-scandal-puts-focus-on-Ohio-St-p/landing_ohiostate.html?blockID=529718&feedID=3725 Title: Re: Ohio State President Gee in the Crosshairs Now Post by: Coach Hank Crisp on May 31, 2011, 06:31:30 PM Not really surprising. All the assistant coaches will be gone after this year. After reading SI's column, there is so much going on inside the program there is no way other coaches were not involved. Ohio State can't afford to let anyone stay on from Tressel's staff past this season. Tressel's brother is one of those assistants.

Hard to know how much he knew, plus, he's effective at bringing in $$$. BOT may wait a while --(a year??) -- so as not to jeapordize the $$$ coming in.

Tressel's brother is one of those assistants. His brother is in deep. His involvement goes way back.McBaman- I agree about Gee, but let's wait to see how much the Tressel firing/resignation abates the wolves. Title: Re: Ohio State President Gee in the Crosshairs Now Post by: ricky023 on June 01, 2011, 11:11:24 AM I can't remember when we went through this thing did our AD get fired? I haven't truly found out what Institutional Control entails. One of my questions is how does tOSU problems relate to ours back then? Makes ya feel kind of ugly thinking about it. RTR!

The OSU has found itself mired in lies, corruption, tainted athletes, criminal boosters, and mores lies for the cover up. Bama's problems were merely some paperwork errors that could have happened to anyone. Hope this helps.Title: Re: Ohio State President Gee in the Crosshairs Now Post by: ricky023 on June 01, 2011, 11:39:07 AM I can't remember when we went through this thing did our AD get fired?
