Title: Texas coaching search
Post by: N.AL-Tider on December 15, 2013, 07:30:46 AM
Could it be one of these guys? (http://msn.foxsports.com/college-football/story/travis-top-candidates-to-replace-mack-brown-at-texas-121413)  I knew that James Franklin had done an incredible job at Vandy but did not realize this...

Vandy's 15-4 in its last 19 games. Only Alabama has a better record in the SEC during that time.

JF is an excellent coach. I remember last year, some teams knocked on his door, but he turned them away to stay at Vandy. Will be interesting to see what he does this year. Not saying Tejas will come calling, but I'm sure there are some teams that will.

Well, to be honest, If I were the AD at Texas I would at least approach Coach Saban regardless of his new contract.  Give him the chance to say no.  When/if he did I would then go hard after my #2 guy.

It's Clay Travis, the Tennessee homer that hates all things Bama. The dude is a complete idiot.
