To Leroy. A part of our story, as we were a small part of his.

Jamos and I had the pleasure of meeting Neil. Talk about a sweet and wonderful guy! He was in person as he was on this forum, a very caring guy and one heck of a Bama fan. Our CRS family has lost a good one today.

This has hit me pretty hard.  I just knew he was going to pull through.  But God had other plans, and I know his plans are higher than ours.

Coach Bryant used to say that he never lost a game, but sometimes he just ran out of time before he got finished playing.  Ol' Leroy fought hard, but he just ran out of time before he got finished fighting.  But Leroy didn't lose, we did.  We lost a dear friend whose mere presence would bring a smile to us all.  But Ol' Leroy has won the victory and is now enjoying his reward.

No matter the circumstances he was facing, every time he was able to get on here he had a good attitude and a positive outlook.  He set an example that I hope I never forget.  When some minor triviality or annoyance gets under my skin, maybe I can think of Leroy and remember to be thankful for the many blessings that I have in my life.

Hi, it's Ms Leroy , sorry I haven't gotten back about the services for Leroy. The day after he died , we had finished his obits and his sisters informed me that I had to be moved out of the family home by Jan. 9th and they are trying to take me to court because there wasn't a will to see what of Leroy's belongings I am Intitled too. Leroy always wanted to be buried in Jasper close to his dad but the family told me there wasn't any place for him, I then decided to have him cremated and have his remains taken to be laid to rest next to his dad. Leroy thought the world of you guys . The is a nice article in the local paper about his love for Bama football. Y'all can read it online and his obit also. It's The post-searchlight.com in the obits. Hope y'all have a Merry Christmas and a happy New year !

Mrs L I will continue to pray for you. Leroy was a friend of mine although we had never met. I always enjoyed the back and forth conversations we had and the occasional PM. I wish you the best as you look to the future without Leroy. He was a special person and I know you miss him, we all do. I know it will be difficult but I wish you a Merry Christmas and hope you stay in touch with Leroy's friends here at CRS.

For Leroy I say a big ROLL TIDE!

Mrs. L I want to extend my sympathy. I know Leroy is in the presence of JESUS CHRIST the living son of God. You know what it takes Jesus said there is only one way to the father. I bet Leroy is waiting by the Eastern Gate right now for you. I know the Lord takes an Angel home when that Mansion is built. Wow, there is so much to look forward to. I pray Gods' love on you with Grace and Mercy covering you everyday. Just remember when your sitting around and that little pure soft voice whispers in your ear, who it is, oh yes it' Leroy. God Bless. Praise God for you. AMEN RTR!

ever ask a question you already thought you knew the answer to but
ask it anyway ?

then when you get the answer and find out you were right in
what you thought ?

then you feel all satisfied that you were right in your thoughts and
now that you know the whole story it makes you cry ?  (just a little)

there are some special folks here ...... Love you guys  :worship:
