Title: Baseball Ranked 29th in Collegiate Baseball Preseason Poll Post by: pmull on December 22, 2013, 07:36:09 AM Alabama baseball showed a lot of improvement last year with a bunch of young guys. Most of the team is back with and a good incoming class that has several players expected to contribute right away.

I think that can be this team's strength.
I hope we can find an SEC caliber catcher. Last one we've had was Kodi Valverdi, and that was a while ago. Maybe Wass will be healthy and fill that bill. I hope we can find the long ball again in our hitting. We've really been anemic in that area in recent years. If we can address these three areas effectively, we should have a team which can compete favorably in the conference. Looking forward to the season. Hope to be able to hook up with Jamos to watch some of the games.
