Title: Any news on Lane Kiffins visit?
Post by: Merk on December 28, 2013, 03:32:48 PM
I was wondering if anyone had heard any news or reports on LK's visit?

I'm of the opinion that there might be a shift in Bama's offensive philisophy next year.   :dunno:

I think he missed a spot on the driver's side, other than that I think he did a pretty good job washing Saban's truck.

You may see a new wrinkle or two but that will be it. We will run the same basic offense of CNS always has. Kiffin was brought in as a consultant out of work coach to look the offense over with CNS and the offensive coaches just to get a different set of eyes on things. CNS said he valued his opinion as an offensive coach. Keep in mind not too many coaches are available this time of year.

CNS has always done this. A few years ago Bob Stoops and the entire coaching staff gave in to look at a Bama practice to see how things are done. This type stuff has been going on forever. We normally do not hear about it.

The only thing that would have been better is if Mrs. K had washed his truck.

Colin Cowherd made some interesting remarks about our O.C. He said the word is that Saban is not happy with Nussmeier's play calling & thinks the offense fell down in certain games when we had a chance to put the other team away. My guess is he's talking about A&M & Auburn.
