Title: Half of Last Month's New Jobs Came from a Single Employer — McDonald's

Half of Last Month's New Jobs Came from a Single Employer — McDonald's (http://www.weeklystandard.com/blogs/half-last-months-jobs-came-single-employer-mcdonalds_573220.html=)

According to the unemployment data released this morning, the economy added only 54,000 jobs, pushing the unemployment rate up to 9.1 percent. However, this report from MarketWatch suggests the data is much worse than that:

Morgan Stanley estimates McDonald’s hiring will boost the overall number by 25,000 to 30,000. The Labor Department won’t detail an exact McDonald’s figure — they won’t identify any company they survey — but there will be data in the report to give a rough estimate.

787 billion dollars and 3 years later and the stumlus bill added 25,000-30,000 jobs at McDonald's.

The US added just 54,000 jobs in May, confirming fears that the recovery of the world’s largest economy has stalled.

The rise in payrolls was far smaller than the 165,000 forecast by economists in a Bloomberg poll, and also well below this year’s average monthly gain of 182,000. The unemployment rate rose by a 10th of a percentage point to 9.1 per cent

I read yesterday when the average per dollar wage is now down to $8.35 hour.
That's fail.

The greed of Cooperate America has ruined the USA by outsourcing a huge majority of the highly skilled better paying jobs. It just kills me to open the paper and read where the goverment reports all of these jobs that become available each month. All of these jobs are low paying jobs and don't even pay the empployee enough to pay for their gas to drive to work.

When I read about the huge profits that the companies report, I have to wonder where these earnings really come from, the USA or a foreign country.  :(

The unemployment figure is misleading. There are many people who are working but under-employed. I feel for for anyone who loses their job in this job market. Everyone is down sizing.

The reason is america doesnt do anything.  I dont know what the percentage is, but most people do not produce a marketable good.  You cant just trade money back and forth and no work getting done.  Too many lawyers, too many people going to college, too many lazy asses.  It's going to have to get worse before it gets better.

The government including the EPA and other regulatory agencies and  attorneys has forced manufacturing to other countries. Law suit abuse costs everyone in this country. Over regulation also costs people in jobs.

One of my customers is a large recycling steel mill, part of a worldwide company. The mill recycles and produces 100 million tons a year. There is another mill in SC that puts out over 200 million tons of recycled steel each year. I don't see how they stay in business because their overhead is tremendous.

Example, their water bill exceeds $50,000.00 each month. Power is close to $3,000,000.00 monthly. They have other mills located globally.

Steel company spends a fortune in up keep alone. Salaries are determined by tons of steel produced and with that incentive they really put out the coils. Company is run very well for the most part.

And just how many of these new McDonald employees will be buying new homes? :(
Don't hold your breath for an uptick in housing construction or purchases.

There are too many houses.  That's not going to improve for quite a while.  Sorry if you're trying to sell.
