Title: Alabama softball defeats Baylor 3-0 for second straight WCWS win Post by: pmull on June 04, 2011, 06:28:25 AM Alabama won its second game in as many days taking down Baylor 3-0 to advance in the winner's bracket of the Women's College World Series.
The Crimson Tide will play again Sunday against an opponent to be determined. Alabama is one win away from the championship portion of the tournament. Alabama scored runs in the first and fourth innings Friday night to secure the victory. I look for us to start driving those runners in. we are leaving too many on base. Who knows...4-0 could be a possibility...not a stretch. Watchin UF's aggressive offense, we have to place hits, if we are to survive/continue. I strongly believe, that we are there...from a defensive/pitching standpoint.
