Title: Bama vs Cental Fla today 11 am Post by: Jamos on June 05, 2011, 09:30:34 AM Bama tries to rebound after the tough loss to Fla St yesterday and win a second game against Central Fla.
Bama had their chances to win that game yesterday but let it slip away due to mental and physical errors. Jonathan Smart will start for the Tide today and if they can win, they will play Fla St again at 5 pm. Bennet follows with a line drive single and then scores on a double to the centerfield fence by Reaves followed by a walk to Smith with no outs yet. Shortstop makes an error on a Rosecrans shot up the middle and Bennet scores, Central Florida changing pitchers with 2 runners on and no outs Bama leading 3-1. Booth coming to bat with runners on 1st and 3rd.
Booth fans, Miller at bat. Miller bunts and Reaves scores, Miller out at first. Hendricks fans for the third out, Bama leads 4-1 after one. There is no pitchers duel today! The next batter bunts to Smart who gets the runner at 3rd. Had a chance for a dbl play, error loads the bases, still 1 out. Had a chance for another dbl play, gets the runner at second and a runner scores, 2 out. 3rd out, Bama comes to bat leading 4-2.

The next batter bunts back to Smart getting the runner at 3rd. Next batter gets a hit and scores a run. Next batter hits into an inning ending dbl play. Bama leads 4-3

Kendric, the young man that was diagnosed with cancer at last years SEC playoffs got to bat in the 8th and got a hit. Smart pitched one heak of a game after his bad start.
Bama gives up one but wins 12-5, will play Florida St at 5 pm. ROLL TIDE!!!!!! :dance: |
