Quote
"With AJ McCarron gone, Nick Saban will turn to Yeldon and Derrick Henry to carry the workload in Tuscaloosa. The offensive line will be excellent and Yeldon enters his junior season after back-to-back seasons with at least 1,100 yards and 12 touchdowns. With just 382 carries in his first two seasons, Yeldon still has plenty of tread left on the tires." ...

LONG shot, at best.   :dunno:

I suspect Henry might just take over the starting RB role in Spring drills...If he does then he would have a good chance at being invited to NY...

Don't forget about Drake if he is still around. This young man has loads of talent running the football but he is lacking the most important ingredient needed to play for CNS, the mental part. That could change though, he might grow up. :dunno:

Personally I don't care about the Heisman anymore, it's nothing but a popularity contest and players at Bama aren't too popular in the eyes of the national media, they win too much. ;)

It will be very difficult.  The voters love QBs too much.  I think the only reason Ingram won in '09 is that Tebow and McCoy split the QB vote (was Bradford still around that year too?).

That, and Bama had never had a Heisman winner despite several top players.  So history was on Ingram's side.  Bama doesn't have that anymore.  But I don't care much about the Heisman either, championships is what Bama is about.
