Title: Alabama Women Beat Georgia 69-66 Post by: pmull on January 26, 2014, 04:47:02 PM Alabama follows up our road win over # 8 Kentucky with 69-66 win over Georgia. It is our first win over Georgia since 1998. Georgia had beaten us 23 straight times. Coach Curry has made a big difference in her first year. We are not only competitive we are winning. We are 3-4 in the SEC. We finished SEC play 2-14 the last two years.
I watched the game on CSS. I have not seen a game story yet so I do not have a link to post. Our Women's program has been the SEC doormat for too long. Their coach has a proven record and it will be interesting to see how well she recruits. Like with any coach, you have to wait 4 years to see how good (or bad) they are.
