If he doesn't, can he come on campus and start working out with the players and participate in strength and conditioning? I don't recall the rules, but I'll bet he enrolls as a grad student. Then he can take classes that don't require regular attendance or tests, such as research classes. I would think that he will be knee deep into the playbook as soon as he graduates as well as Cochran rehabbing his knee.
