While experts tout Alabama's class as one of best ever, Nick Saban says it simply 'satisfied our needs'

"If you look at Alabama's class, you could argue that it's been the best class that Nick Saban has signed while he's been at Alabama," ESPN National Recruiting Director Tom Luginbill said. "What Alabama's always done such a good job of doing is recruiting to need whether it's a lack of talent or lack of depth and building the football team from the inside out.

"With that being said, I think it's a sensational class."

Luginbill's colleague, 16-year veteran reporter Jeremy Crabtree, went one step higher, calling it "the best I've ever seen," during an interview on The Paul Finebaum Show.
