Title: NFL Combine Invites 12 Tide Players
Post by: Marshal Dillon on February 06, 2014, 02:08:17 PM
I still don't see Kuandijo as a 1st round pick after this year.

Quote
In their latest mock drafts, ESPN's Mel Kiper Jr. and Todd McShay both anticipate Alabama to have three first-round picks -- Mosley, Clinton-Dix and Kouandjio -- in May's draft. Both believe they'll be off the board by the 20th pick and McShay projects Mosley as high as eighth overall.

Draft picks are usually based on potential rather than past performance.  Thus a QB with two national championships and three regular season losses in three years who broke virtually every passing record at Bama is predicted as 3-5 round pick and an offensive lineman who couldn't block air and probably set a record for the number of false starts called on a single lineman in a season is projected as a first round pick.
