Title: Rolltide.com
Post by: Leewillie on February 16, 2014, 05:58:52 AM
Anybody else having trouble with the Rolltide.com site?

For the last couple of days when I go to the site, all of the menus are listed in a single column on the left edge of the page. There is nothing in the center and right side of the page. When I go to schedule, the "next game" box has dropped off the page. Help, anybody. Ive tried EI, Firefox, and Google chrome, All are the same.

I used to have all kinds of problems with IE but I changed recently to Google Chrome with adblock and everything has been much better for me.

Google Chrome has worked very good for me. I also switched from IE. The biggest difference is the speed.

I think the adblock has helped a lot too. Those ads had so much animation in them that they would just hose up my computer and I haven't had that problem since changing.

I use Google Chrome on most everything except on line certifications for MA plans. For some strange reason they only work in IE. Never had a problem with Google Chrome. Not sure what the snafu with Rolltide.com is.

Yeah, I would get messages from Microsoft about ads cross scripting. I'm no computer geek but my patience grew very thin with the computer hosing up so often. :dunno:

I used the site last night during & after the BB game, no problem. IE is the stone ages, Google Chrome is the thing, now. I changed a year ago.

Must be something in our settings, Leewillie. I'm just not enough of a computer guru to know what it is.

Me either, I'll have to get one of my grand kids over to figure it out for me.

Why not take it in to a repair shop, they can tell you in a very short time what your problem is.

You need to update everything at least once every 5 years, even if you don't think you need to.

I would take it to Lee's $9.99 guy. You won't beat that price anywhere.

That $9.99 guy was Office Depot.

Leewillie that is a very simple update you can do your self. Type in Adobe Flash Player into you search box, once on Adobe's site there are step by step instructions on how to update your flash player. Total time less than 5 minutes!

Thanks Peewee & Leewillie. I'll give it a shot now. I thought I had done that a couple of weeks ago, but as usual, I guess I'm behind again.
