A true freshman quarterback has never taken a snap at Alabama since Saban arrived, and Cornwell enters the competition already hampered in his progress because of the knee surgery he underwent in October. Cornwell's recovery has gone well, though, and the Norman, Okla., product is expected to be ready for the Crimson Tide's first practice. He's big and athletic and was among the highest-ranked quarterbacks Saban has signed to the Crimson Tide. Clearly, he brings a lot of potential to the table. He'll just have to tap into it in a hurry to be considered a viable option for the 2014 season... :popcorn2: |
