Title: Coach K Not Leaving Duke Anytime Soon
Post by: Marshal Dillon on March 28, 2014, 09:42:34 PM
Coach K is 67 so it will be interesting how effective he can be with advancing age.

Quote
he 67-year-old Krzyzewski, who leads all Division I men's coaches with 983 wins, was hospitalized after feeling light-headed during a loss at Wake Forest on March 4.

Among the items on his agenda going forward is developing on-court leadership, especially after the third-seeded Blue Devils' 78-71 loss to 14-seed Mercer in the NCAA tournament's round of 64.

A loss to Wake Forest is liable to make anybody light headed.

I think Duke may have made a good choice here. I think Coach K is still the best coach there is, and yes, I know the losses. RTR!

Coach K is still a great coach but you do wonder how much is age might be affecting him in the next few years. Also, Roy Williams at UNC is around 63 years old, so the same applies to him.
