Well said CNS. We need a Prime Time kicker that can hit for 90% or higher in FG's. Kicking wins games and loses games as was shoved in our face last year during the last regular season game. RTR!

With question marks surrounding its specialist positions heading into the summer, Alabama has embraced that mentality, bringing in multiple players to compete with Adam Griffith at both spots.

Along with freshman signee JK Scott, Alabama will have preferred walk-on Gunnar Raborn to add to the mix. Raborn, who hails from the same place (Lafayette, La.) as departing punter Cody Mandell, made his decision official shortly before A-Day.

"(Alabama coaches) called me and I went there to visit,” Raborn told The Advertiser last month. “They told me that I would have a chance to punt and kick for them." ...

Sounds like the coaches may be rebuilding the entire kicking game this summer.

The A Day game exposed the weakness in our kicking game, with the exception of Morris nailing punts inside the 10 yd line. These 2 guys can't get here soon enough. (Didn't we also say that about Coker?)  :lol2:
