Title: Bama Beats Auburn 8-4 Softball
Post by: Catch Prothro on May 08, 2014, 08:09:14 PM
Bama softball leading 8-4 in the middle of the 6th inning.  The Barn was hammering Traina early on (4-1 lead ) but then a train rolled through, Traina hit a HR to give Bama the lead, and she's shut down AU since.  Bama is home team, at bat now.  The Barn has 3 outs left.

The Alabama seniors went 7-2 against the barn in their four years.  #+

UGA will be a difficult game. Traina threw a lot of pitches last night so I do not expect her to pitch unless it is a late inning save situation. It will be up to Littlejohn and Jury. I expect Littlejohn to get the start.

Winning the SEC Tournament would be nice but Bama has their goals set on a bigger trophy. We do not need to over use Traina or get anyone hurt this week. We already have a national seed wrapped up that will give us home field in the regional and super regional.
