Interesting they voted 91.5 % Jake would be our starting QB in week 1. I think it is still too early to write off Bateman, Sims or Morris. Thoughts?

Well great read on this article and others on there. It looks like I got out voted by 91%. I just can't vote for a great guy until I have seen him practice or play. Right now SIMS is the starting QB to me until CNS says differently. RTR!

I am definitely writing Sims off unless there is an emergency. Morris seems to have the physical tools.

Jake is not a freshman or even a JUCO coming in.  He has proven himself in a major college program -- just not at Bama.  He WILL be there all summer to work with the receivers etc.  IMHO, he's not starting from scratch and he's our best QB candidate.  I'll say #1 Jake, #2 and #3 Blake & Cooper although I'm not sure in what order.  Early season Simms #2 but by end of season maybe Bateman.

I'm not expecting Coker to be as good as Winston but I do expect that he will be a really productive QB with Kiffen as OC. He might even put up more passing yards than AJ.

At this point in time, I think he's our best hope.

I am not going to write him off just yet. Doesn't Sims have as much playing time as Jake in regards to last year?

I will stand with Ricky on this one. I don't see how Sims does not start the WV game. I have a standing bet with Chech on this, but I forgot what the steaks are. I hope it isn't steaks.

I don't think Sims is the man.  I think Coker has a good shot at starting.  I think Bateman could emerge as a good qb watching him thow.

I would like to see more, but I like the way Bateman threw the ball, his release, better than Sims.
