So a snail was crossing the road when it was run over by a turtle.

DitchDoc and his buddies rushed the snail to the hospital.

The nurse in the ER said to the snail, "My God. This is horrible. What happened?"

The snail answered, "I don't know. It all happened so fast!"

My favorite was my cashew comment, which I was afraid might get taken the wrong way, so I deleted it, but then WV quoted it and saved it, it was great.

Hang in there Old Tider!    There is so little Crimson Tide news this time of year that we all just start thinking about less important
things. :-*

I believe we will have a full forum again by the end of August. It is a good forum with good members.

I apologize in advance if I'm wrong, Old Tider, --but don't you live across the pond?

Since things are inherently slow this time of year, let's hear from you. Scottish/English hot chic photos or maybe the cooking tip of the day.  During the slow time we can benefit from YOUR experience.

No hot tips from England, where the high temperature two days ago was 46 degrees. I don't cook and my hot chick would be Veronica Lake. (Look her up.) If it's slow your way, it's slower over here, except for Wimbledon tennis. As an Old Tider, I wait for you whippersnappers to speed things up.

I think...Veronica Lodge of the Archie comics loved Archie....not Jughead. I read that the name of Veronica Lake was used to create the name Veronica Lodge.

Veronica Lake was a screen actress and pin-up model.  She had long blonde hair with a wave that fell over one eye.
