Title: Eight College Football Coaches on Hot Seat
Post by: Marshal Dillon on July 02, 2014, 05:08:24 PM
No real surprises here if you ask me except for maybe the Big Ten coach. Two are in the SEC.

I would add Paul Johnson at GT.

Tough call, but understandable. He won an ACC Divisional title in 2012 and we are talking about Ga. Tech.

You think?  I'm not convinced, but my only tie to Atlanta and GT these days is my 80-year-old dad, who went to graduate school there.

Tech hasn't beaten UGA in years and the talent at GT has dropped considerably. Tech has trouble with physical teams and with Clemson and NC on the rise Tech's future looks tough.

Bingo. The major problem is they run the option & have almost no passing attack. They want to run the clock & want to use ball control to win the game & todays game is just not that way. Plus, they just aren't physical enough against good teams.
