Great match up. I wish we were playing USCw this year. The West Virginia game is just not that attractive.

This will be one of the biggest build up to game time games ever. CBB played his cards perfect when he and John McKay decided to play in Legion Field back years ago. That is where the CBB brought Alabama up to the times of College Football back then. He was a very intelligent man in my opinon. RTR!

What strikes me about this is...with UT and mnow USC are the Oakland Raiders far behind. We will be playing all the teams that CLK has been a part of. I like the games though.

John McKay and USC game to B'ham and beat the tar out of us in 1970. Sam Cunningham ran all over us and USC scored 42 points and beat us by three TD's. It was 1971 in Los Angles that Coach Bryant unveiled the wishbone and we beat a very good USC team 17-10. I remember it like it was yesterday.

New QB starting this year.  I'll take a warm-up over a solid west coast team.

Great match-up and one that should draw a lot of attention unless USC is still having problems. I would like to see Oregon, UCLA, Oklahoma, Texas, Notre Dame, Ohio State, & FSU on future schedules. These type of match-ups are so exciting and much talked about.

Agreed.  With the playoff system even two losses won't eliminate a team from title contention if the losses are to quality teams.  Plus we haven't lost many high-profile out-of-conference games under Saban, so I think we'd win most of them.
