The something else being: Communication. If we do not have this down right it can and will kill a football team because there are so many check downs that need to be understood. Just like last year and the last 2 games. This is the last time I speak of last year, but that greater than thou attitude will hurt. We must have 11 on 11 any way you play. JMHO! RTR!

Post by: ALTideUp on August 25, 2014, 04:16:23 PM This season will come down to our ability to handle the hurry-up offenses, most notably Auburns. They were great at it last year and we didn't have the scheme or the stamina to defend it. They have a year to refine it, though they have lost important offensive players, and we have a year to prepare our defense. We will get an early test with Ole Miss, and the Auburn game. I have no worries about anyone playing a conventional offensive scheme, not even LSU.
