Title: QB Prediction for Sat Post by: ALTideUp on September 04, 2014, 03:09:48 PM I predict that Coker will start Saturday. I base this on my belief that the plan was to handle WVU and let Coker play the second half of that game. Since he didn't get the chance. Saban will let him start the game, to be true to his word about the openness of the competition and so he can be evaluated with the ones against the ones (sometime one does not equal one) of FAU. Regardless of how well Coker plays Sims will play the third quester. Alex Morris will see the field in the fourth. The oracle has spoken.

A good I read is what you saw in Sims Saturday is pretty much what you'll get. BUT, if Coker can get his head straight, his ceiling is real high. Hope he gets to that point. Sims will likely start, IMO. If Coker's knee is still ailing, we may not see him. If that happens, I think ATU is correct, we will be too far down the "Sims is starter" road to turn back unless he gets injured. I think LK and CNS want to see Coker in a game situation. As we all have seen, sometimes a player under performs at practice but excels in a game and vice Versa.
