If we can get to a consensus early then I can put them in early and give people more time to make their picks. Ideally I could put these in on Saturday night and they would be ready to go when folks come by on Sunday to join in on the post game discussion.

Nevada v. Arizona. Both are 2-0. BYU v. Houston Thursday game. Illinois v. Washington Both 2-0 and PAC 12 v. mighty Big Ten. Minnesota v. TCU Both undefeated. Big 12 v. Big Ten. We really need to ditch the A&M/Rice debacle and the ND/Purdue massacre.   Title: Re: Week 3 Games (A peek ahead) Post by: bama57 on September 07, 2014, 03:09:47 PM the line just came out on vegas insider

Title: Re: Week 3 Games (A peek ahead) Post by: bama57 on September 07, 2014, 03:55:08 PM I think they use a different sports site for the line in our pickem, but, I can't remember it
Title: Re: Week 3 Games (A peek ahead) Post by: Catch Prothro on September 07, 2014, 04:34:46 PM Games to consider: I agree on alternatives to those two games. Purdue usually gives ND a decent game, but they look bad this year. And A&M Rice will be a massacre.Nevada v. Arizona. Both are 2-0. BYU v. Houston Thursday game. Illinois v. Washington Both 2-0 and PAC 12 v. mighty Big Ten. Minnesota v. TCU Both undefeated. Big 12 v. Big Ten. We really need to ditch the A&M/Rice debacle and the ND/Purdue massacre. The Nevada Washington game could be interesting. BYU Houston, I don't know @ 14 points, not that interesting. And I don't know about any Big10 team, undefeated against who? Your prior suggestion, VT and E Carolina maybe, 11.5 points. West Virginia v. Maryland @ 4.5 points could be interesting Louisville Virginia 10 points Still waiting on more lines to come out: http://www.vegasinsider.com/college-football/odds/las-vegas/ Title: Re: Week 3 Games (A peek ahead) Post by: Catch Prothro on September 07, 2014, 04:36:36 PM I think they use a different sports site for the line in our pickem, but, I can't remember it I think SC uses the online site, Sportsbook, which is also listed on Vegas Insider. West Virginia v. Maryland @ 4.5 points could be interesting I hope WV wins because they play OK next! Title: Re: Week 3 Games (A peek ahead) Post by: Catch Prothro on September 07, 2014, 05:02:15 PM Looks like Nevada AZ is 16.5 points. A bit high to select this particular game.
Title: Re: Week 3 Games (A peek ahead) Post by: bama57 on September 07, 2014, 05:03:32 PM That is a real tight line on the Georgia/ SC game :o
Title: Re: Week 3 Games (A peek ahead) Post by: Catch Prothro on September 07, 2014, 05:21:59 PM Since we don't pick the Bama games, it might be fun to pick teams that Bama has played instead.
That would give up these two substitute games: West Virginia v. Maryland @ 4.5 points Big10 Louisville at Virginia 10 points ESPN3 Title: Re: Week 3 Games (A peek ahead) Post by: Marshal Dillon on September 07, 2014, 06:18:19 PM Games to consider: I agree on alternatives to those two games. Title: Re: Week 3 Games (A peek ahead) Post by: SUPERCOACH on September 08, 2014, 03:23:22 PM The first two weeks this year have been 2 of our best in terms of participation. Only one other week in the history of the site had more contestants. That was week 1 in 2012, which had 36 contestants. So far this year we've had 34 and 33.
I would really love to see us make it to 50 contestants some day, so I am going to extend the bonus e-creds I talked about for week 1. The first week we make it to 50 contestants, everyone who participates will get +50 e-creds. Title: Re: Week 3 Games (A peek ahead) Post by: Bandit on September 08, 2014, 06:11:47 PM YES! Btw, also like SC, I'm very excited about the participation this year. I can't remember how many years this is for me, but looks to be the strongest so far. Everyone needs to show SC & CP some e-cred love for the work they do putting this together for us! Title: Re: Week 3 Games (A peek ahead) Post by: 2Stater on September 08, 2014, 06:51:21 PM YES!
