-- QB Jacob Coker: The long-awaited passing debut started shaky but improved for the Florida State transfer.  After starting 4-for-10, he threw for 202 yards while completing 15 of 24 attempts. Coker entered on the Tide's fourth possession, leading the offense to a field goal and touchdown respectively on his first two drives.

-- WR Cam Sims: One of the first off the bench, the true freshman didn't catch a pass but was targeted on a screen pass thrown high by Jacob Coker. He played against West Virginia but saw an increased role in Week 2.

-- CB Tony Brown: Played special teams last week but saw his first time at cornerback in the second half. He was the first corner off the bench, made one assisted tackle on the final FAU drive of the game.

-- LB Rashaan Evans: The quick outside linebacker had a shot at two sacks and completed one. He made a special teams stop on his first play last week, but saw his first time at linebacker Saturday. Coming up empty after getting his hands on the FAU quarterback in the third quarter, Evans came unblocked in the fourth to bury Greg Hankerson on the final defensive play of the game. He finished with two tackles....

Good stuff.  We'll need all of these great players, and need for them to play great football!
