Sources told ESPN's Ed Werder that Clowney suffered an MCL injury. He'll undergo further testing on Monday. Clowney left the game late in the second quarter with a knee injury after landing awkwardly on the ground and did not return in the second half. Clowney looked visibly upset as he walked into the Texans' locker room with a trainer... He comes into the NFL hyped to the heavens and now this. I hope this is not the beginning of a career of injuries. I just don't see how he can play in 6 weeks after knee surgery and be able to pivot and move properly.

He comes into the NFL hyped to the heavens and now this. I hope this is not the beginning of a career of injuries. I just don't see how he can play in 6 weeks after knee surgery and be able to pivot and move properly. I can't see him coming back in 6 weeks either. I would be surprised if he came back at all this year if it really is an MCL tear.
