How much of Lane Kiffin's offense has Alabama shown? Senior explains playbook management

"I think there's a lot left on the table we can show," Alabama tight end Brian Vogler said. "I think the coaches are saving that up to work on a different defense. We put in a lot of stuff. We take certain stuff out against certain defenses. We game plan around it. There's a lot of stuff still out there. The coaches are just waiting to use it."

One of the different looks Alabama's showing involves the tight ends. Vogler and O.J. Howard have been lined up in the slot, standing up like receivers.
This has become standard in the NFL... hopefully we'll see more of it later in the season.

"Seeing us in the slot is something that throws defenses off," Vogler said. "Confuses them a little bit, and sets us up for mismatches, which is something we are trying to find. Defenses getting confused with guys over the wrong guys, setting us up for something big."

Just wish Bama would run it once.  Maybe that'd stop the rumors...

Can you imagine the mock cheer that will break out when OJ finally does catch a pass?

I believe OJ and Brian will get their number of passes this year. I do feel like CNS and CLK are saving that for the bigger games maybe. I don't know but that would be my guess. RTR!

I hope so Preacher.  Maybe by then our QB will have the confidence to execute those plays.

Hey Catch it just appears to me that CNS is not willing to show to much. As one of the interviews stated that if we find a play that works then they run it over and over. Really simple to me right now. RTR!

I think it is multi prong. Keep it simple, let the QB's get some experience, don't show our future opponents anything
