Cliff expounds his "Buffalo Theory" to Norm: ... A herd of buffalo can only move as fast as the slowest buffalo. And when the herd is hunted, it’s the slowest and weakest ones at the back that are killed first. This natural selection is good for the herd as a whole, because the general speed and health of the whole group keeps improving by the regular killing of the weakest members. In much the same way, the human brain can only operate as fast as the slowest brain cells. Now, as we know, excessive intake of alcohol kills brain cells. But naturally, it attacks the slowest and weakest brain cells first. In this way, regular consumption of beer eliminates the weaker brain cells, making the brain a faster and more efficient machine. And that, Norm, is why you always feel smarter after a few beers.” Title: Re: The Buffalo Theory ( as related to in a previous post) Post by: ricky023 on July 05, 2011, 09:38:39 PM LOL, you are a little softer there. It was kinda funny though. If that was true some years back I would have been rich from gambling at poker for yrs and drinking while I was playing. RTR!

I'm 30. It still killed her. Title: Re: The Buffalo Theory ( as related to in a previous post) Post by: rueben on July 06, 2011, 03:27:40 PM I passed out drunk in my mothers arms at a very early age. ( Some where between becoming a teenager, and getting my learners permit. It was not 'fun times." :-\
We had a very, very large yard, with lot's of very very large pine trees. The next morning she made me rake the yard. It was hot as 9 hells out, and every time I bent over to pick up a load of pine straw, I would puke. |
