So maybe it's no surprise that in the wake of arguably Alabama's most impressive offensive performance in years, the Crimston Tide coach felt like dishing out a little "told-you-so" at his Tuesday press conference in regards to his much-second-guessed hire of Lane Kiffin.
"If I did what you all thought when I hired the guy, he wouldn't even be here," Saban said, in response to a question about whether his communication with Kiffin had improved. "Maybe that was the assumption -- because nobody thought it was a good hire, that all of a sudden [our communication was] bad. I don't know. I thought it was a good hire. Nobody else did. I don't give a sh*t about "fairness"..it is well past time we put them in their place in a BIG way..we've had chances to do so before, but for some reason have not as yet. I still think Lame is a d*ckhead and a jerk..he's old enough to have learned not to act up..but so far has not..he's only kept his moth shut because CNS has a tight leash on him..is it evident that I hate the goathumpers with all the passion I can muster?
