That familiar visor atop his head, he smiled and shook hands with a few people, barely noticing the cameras that fixed on Nick Saban, Amari Cooper and Blake Sims.
Kiffin patted a couple of his offensive linemen on the butt, circled around the media frenzy and made a beeline toward the locker room. CNS says he is doing a good job. The players have embraced him. Tide fans love the offense with all the yards and points. Four games into his career at Alabama what is there not to like?
He is young and has made some bonehead mistakes in the past. CNS is giving him another chance and he is making the most of it. Maybe in a few years he will have matured enough to take the next step ??? 2 years ago he was way to cocky and arrogant

CNS is giving him another chance and he is making the most of it. Think about it. At age 32 he became the youngest NFL head coach EVER. After 2 years, he became the youngest head coach in FBS football at Tennessee. Then he becomes head coach of one of the top programs in all of college football at USC. All this went to his head and made him think he was the smartest guy in the room. The slap down at USC by Pat Haden and the coverage in the media really slammed him home to earth. It had to be a humbling experience. Now, he's working for the most respected coach in college football who is giving him guidance and advice. Plus, his father was an NFL guy so he's talking to his kid, too. :dog: |
