Title: Weather looking iffy for the Arkansas game
Post by: Chechem on October 11, 2014, 05:50:50 AM
Yesterday it looked worse, but now it appears that the rain will lessen by kickoff.  But it will rain all day, so the field will be soggy and slow.  That could help the hogs.  It'll be cool (50s) during the game, with some light rain.

Here's hoping the greasy ball slips from the hogs' grip with regularity!

Our daughter and son-in-law wanted to go to one of the road games this year and their choices were either the Arkansas game or the LSU game, they chose Arkansas. What a bummer for them. :(

The 3rd Cooper TD catch will make them feel much better!   :lol2:

The drainage system built under the fields these days do a great job of keeping the field dry and playable. If it rains during the game it will be a mess. If the rain moves out before kickoff you may not even be able to tell the field haas been wet.

Yeah.  I drove through downpours this morning (Gun Show).  Fortunately for ESPN GameDay, the rain is barely to Starkville.  It's heading that way, though.

It's raining at our neck of the woods in Texas as well. Looks to be a soggy day of football in the south.
