Title: 2nd Half Team-By-Team Analysis in National League
Post by: Marshal Dillon on July 14, 2011, 08:15:47 AM
The Braves need a big bat in the worst way. Their pitching is awesome, but the Phillies are just too strong. We can be the wild card, I just don't know if we can pass the Phillies for the divisional title.

MD I like the Braves always since the 60's. Why I wonder is what happen to Heyward, and Uggla? They were suppose to be some great bats, and oops, forgot his name but the guy that came over from Pittsburg, he has not been very good. RTR!

Jason Heyward has never been the complete hitter that he was talked up as, plus he has struggled with injuries this year.  It seems the team thinks he's been milking those injuries a little too much though.

Uggla is just in a bad way mentally.  He'll get it straightened out eventually.

Remember, Heyward is all of 21 so he has some maturing to do. He's going to be all right, I hope.
