Three things to look for:

1. Blake Sims: For the first time this season, he forced passes to top playmaker Amari Cooper at Arkansas. Two of the passes should have easily been intercepted after being smart with the ball for the most part early on. With pass-rushing specialist Myles Garrett on the field, it'll be interesting to see how he handles the extra pressure if blocking breaks down. On the other end of the spectrum, both touchdowns in Fayetteville were scored on plays after Sims bought time with his feet. Will he have that kind of time this week?

2. Kicking game: Alabama's struggled as of late with the field goals while the Aggies have been solid. A&M's Josh Lambo is 7-for-8 this season with a long of 50. Alabama's Adam Griffith has missed four of his last five after nailing his first seven. The blocked extra point last week at Arkansas proved how important this phase of the game can be in tight situations. A&M is also booting touchbacks on 55 percent of its kickoffs to eliminate the big-play potential in that phase.

3. Turnovers: Alabama's had a tough time all season holding onto the ball. It ranks 11th in the SEC with a negative-3 turnover differential, but Texas A&M is a touch worse. It is negative-6 in that category with nine interceptions and three fumbles. Alabama's got the opposite issues with eight fumbles lost and three interceptions. Five of the Aggies' nine interceptions have come in the consecutive losses to Mississippi State and Ole Miss.

And it talks about the matchup between K Hill and the Bama secondary.

I like our chances at home. I think we'll see better execution today.

Best news about this game is Blake just needs to play under control.  No need for heroics.  No passing game on his shoulders.  We can go back to running the ball and having those Kiffin-surprise plays when Blake suddenly throws to OJ for 50 yards.
