Title: Cecil Hurt: SEC Probation List Growing
Post by: Marshal Dillon on July 20, 2011, 10:24:22 AM
Good article.

There is also a growing perception that the SEC's success is tied in some ways to its violations. With Tuesday's announcement of the LSU findings, all of the league's 12 schools - with one exception - have had major violations cases since 1990

It's more than perception, it's reality.  There have been multiple violations, including benefits to players, which (no doubt) helped recruiting the players to SEC schools.  When the Boogers blow the door off this year's scandal list with their reality, the SEC will look even worse.  Most of the violations have been ho-hum scale; the Aubs have spent years building a pay-for-play empire.  All of the SEC schools will feel the collateral damage, and the Boogers will try to pull down everyone with them.

Have a nice day.  ;D

This is the nightmare scenario I worry about. All the hard work by the SEC to have such dominating teams will be damaged by the yokels on the Plains. The will all be tarred with the same brush.

I totally agree with you! The question now is how fair will all of this punishment be, some will get hammered and some will skate.

The article sounded as if we are still on probation. I have to ask if this is true? I thought we had finished our probation and CNS had it all going straight. RTR!
