As for the people watching it live, they used the crawl display around the stadium to hypnotize the entire crowd and press corp, then used the PA system and jumbotrons to insert false memories about the game. The rec hired the same guys who staged the landing on the moon job. They do good work. In the real game Auburn won 98-0.
