Playing on a team that values running the ball, Cooper still broke Jordan Matthews' single-season SEC receptions record. He's been the go-to guy for the most productive passing offense in Alabama history and more consistently dominant than any non-quarterback in the country....

I've watched Mariotta play some and he's good at what he does, but not great, IMO, plus he plays against tiny, unproductive defenses.

Amari is GREAT at what he does. To me, he is clearly the more talented, and certainly plays against bigger, tougher defenses.

But, the talking heads are all in love with Mariotta. He will get the Heisman. That's ok, though. I'll take the Natty over the Heisman any day!

I really think Amari is the best in college football. He brings his A-game every week. When he is double and tripled covered he still catches the ball. I wonder if the other team put 11 people over to cover him and he caught the football they would say ummmm, he is really the best. One thing for sure he would be a better Representative for the Heisman Club than what they have picked in the past. RTR!

I saw an interview on the SEC Network Sunday morning that was taped after the game Saturday. CNS said he has not been able to see all the players from other teams play this year but if there is a player that has helped their team more than Amari Cooper I want to see him. Once again I agree with CNS.

The NFL knows which one is best.  The Heisman selections are seldom about the best player, but if it were Amari would win.  Meanwhile, I'll wait to see what Amari does to OSU and (prolly) Oregon.
