Title: Blake Sims should have been a Heisman Trophy finalist, ESPN analyst says Post by: ssmith general on December 10, 2014, 06:07:37 PM Alabama wide receiver Amari Cooper will be in New York this weekend as one of three Heisman Trophy finalists, but ESPN analyst Trevor Matich said Wednesday one of Cooper's teammates should have accompanied him.
Matich, a former BYU and NFL offensive linemen who now hosts ESPN's College GameDay on radio, was a guest on Ivan Maisel's "Championship Drive" podcast Wednesday. His stats and QB rating are right there with Mariota. He means everything to the team and we wouldn't be where we are without him, kind of like Oregon and Mariota.
