Title: Ohio State OC Herman Takes Houston Head Coaching Job Post by: pmull on December 15, 2014, 11:50:20 AM Quote Tom Herman will be hired as Houston's head coach, per Bruce Feldman of Fox Sports. Herman, 39, was Ohio State's offensive coordinator for three seasons (2012-14) and helped the Buckeyes break several school records during that time. He won the Broyles Award this season, given to the country's best assistant coach. It is believed Herman will remain with the team at least through the Sugar Bowl/playoff semifinal against Alabama. http://ohiostate.247sports.com/Bolt/Report-Herman-Takes-Houston-Head-Coaching-Job-33878480 Title: Re: Ohio State OC Herman Takes Houston Head Coaching Job Post by: pmull on December 15, 2014, 11:53:27 AM Here is another link from NBC Sports. http://collegefootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2014/12/15/report-houston-to-name-buckeyes-qb-whisperer-tom-herman-head-coach/

He knows he is going to end at the Alabama game or wouldn't he rather go out a winner and leave before our game. Sounds like he might be getting on the wrong thought pattern. JMHO. RTR!

It is very similar. Most people were worried if it would be a distraction for us. However, we had an experienced QB and a veteran team. OSU QB will be starting his 2nd game and no one on the OSU team has played a game with the stakes this high. It may not affect their play but it will be a distraction IMO. |
