Title: UNC AD to be fired?
Post by: Marshal Dillon on July 28, 2011, 05:22:25 AM
This guy has been totally incompetent, so how's he keeping his job?

Baddour should have fired Davis no later than after last season and done his due diligence to hire a respected replacement prepared to lead the Tar Heels through the severe penalties likely to come after the school’s appearance before the NCAA infractions committee in October. Instead, he kept Davis and supported him publicly during the last year

Laughing.  Didn't we hash this out just 2 days ago in a thread about Butch Davis?

Okay, for consistency I'll say Dick Baddour is an embarrassment to UNC and should be fired.  That would be the clean sweep the Chancellor is seeking.

I don't remember going into detail about the AD. Aso, the article goes into good detail of just how incompetent this guy is with his other hirings at UNC.

 ???

No, we didn't.  I was hinting that a house cleaning was coming and I couldn't believe that Butch was still there.  We didn't discuss the AD, but the pattern of house cleaning was the same familiar theme as with Butch.

How long do you think the AD will last?

I give the AD one week or less of life. Are you hearing of any grumbling about the President being in trouble? IF he's been there 5 or more years, then he's part of the problem, too.

The Chancellor is not leaving UNC.  The AD is leaving.
