Title: Capstone Report: Death by Finebaum Post by: pmull on July 29, 2011, 03:54:04 PM Ask Mike Shula how much fun being a target of Paul Finebaum’s criticism.
Ask Bill Curry what it was like to be the target of Paul Finebaum’s wrath. Ask an Auburn fan what it is like to suffer the drip, drip, drip of bad news on the Paul Finebaum Radio Network. Simple answer: It isn’t fun. Auburn is getting more than its share of bad news about the massive NCAA investigation centered on Auburn from Finebaum’s broadcast. USA Today sports analyst Danny Sheridan provided most of the bombshell news in the last couple of weeks. (LISTEN to Sheridan’s interview on Paul Finebaum’s show.) We know things are upsetting Auburn when the Defender of the Faith Phillip Marshall comes out to complain about Sheridan’s story. Auburn’s faithful lapdog Marshall wrote pleading for someone, anyone to repudiate what Danny Sheridan reported. Poor guy. The NCAA already told you it will let you know when it is finished. And guess what. It isn’t finished. http://capstonereport.com/2011/07/29/death-by-finebaum/12822/ Title: Re: Capstone Report: Death by Finebaum Post by: BAMAWV on July 29, 2011, 04:35:27 PM The deflection journalism is becoming so blatant and obvious that rather than distract from the barn dilemma, it compounds it. The Scarbo article on Mt. Cody was a perfect example of how petty people can be and how low some are willing to go. I realize legitimate sports news is slow this time of year. But this is something altogether different. The guy from Fayette in the Scarbo article repeated 5 times that no payment of any type was made. But he and the owner of the mens clothing store in Tuscaloosa will be forever remembered as a sleezy part of a problem-- a problem that Scarbo embellished. I would be violent mad. Others will be enraged at this type of fabrication and the end result will be hate, and Scarbinsky is a hate mongerer.

Others will be enraged at this type of fabrication and the end result will be hate, and Scarbinsky is a hate mongerer. Scarbinsky is a hate mongerer. I feel sorry for that yellow toothed booger Phillip Marshall. He has to run out of stuff to spin our way pretty soon. Title: Re: Capstone Report: Death by Finebaum Post by: BAMAWV on July 29, 2011, 04:57:11 PM The University of Alabama will never find themselves quagmired in filth the way the barn is now. They have investigations going against them in 10 different directions. The smell of barn excrement is blowing from one debacle to the next. So out of desperation, they come up with a way to make themselves look even worse. Ignorant fools!

I couldn't agree more. #+ Title: Re: Capstone Report: Death by Finebaum Post by: Marshal Dillon on July 29, 2011, 07:17:11 PM The deflection journalism is becoming so blatant and obvious that rather than distract from the barn dilemma, it compounds it. I guess you've never heard Joseph Goebbels speak. It's a benign article on the sports page, not a manifesto to murder. :D |
